About the Role

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a vital role in the design and integration of complex electrical systems on board state-of-the-art naval vessels. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will cover the full engineering scope from basic and detailed design to validation and commissioning, ensuring performance, safety, and compliance with strict naval standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop functional designs and technical documentation for power distribution, lighting, and EMC-compliant systems
  • Collaborate within a model-based systems engineering (MBSE) environment, working according to the V-model (3DExperience)
  • Write and execute test and validation plans (FAT, HAT, SAT) in accordance with Class regulations and customer requirements
  • Supervise and review supplier and subcontractor deliverables, integrating them into the overall ship design
  • Support commissioning activities and contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering standards
  • Provide conceptual designs during proposal phases for future naval projects

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in designing complex electrical systems (preferably in maritime, offshore, or aerospace sectors)
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Experience working on complex, multidisciplinary projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Familiarity with EMC design principles; knowledge of TEMPEST standards is an advantage
  • Strong technical documentation and communication skills
  • Permanent EU citizenship and valid EU passport (required due to the military classification of projects)
